New Evening

We took a walk around the neighborhood yesterday and I got a chance to test out my new lens.

I've got some new illustrations to post in the next few days (including my little tea cup series), stay tuned. :)

Zoo trip

We went to our local zoo yesterday and enjoyed watching the monkeys and apes exhibition along with some manatees, tigers and a komodo dragon. It was a little chilly, but there wasn't much of crowd, which was a big bonus.

Happy Tuesday

I took a little trip to the local art supply store this weekend for some basic supplies (new pen and ink, yay!) and got Kai a new watercolor set as well. I still get as excited over art supplies now as I did when I was 12.

Looks like we were not the only ones painting this morning.

Zen Cha

Anne and I enjoyed a little tea break today. Just what we needed on a rainy afternoon, milky mate and vanilla chai. mmmmm.
